There was a lot of Shelby stuff I've never seen before there it was seizure inducing. Old, new, supermod, 1 of 1 -Like this purple GT500 unrestored compete with the first magazine advertisement shots and the factory prototype binder notes, sketches & planning for the GT500 convertible.
I've had a die cast model of a yellow one in my room since I was 7 I' d never seen one until then.

Well this was last year and the Shelby Convention was out west this year... But I am seriously looking forward to the Vintage Gran Prix September 6th some of them come back for that but i think Mini (or MG?) is the featured Marque. The Nissan year was pretty amazing with the twin turbo v8 Newman racer etc... Its awesome every year.

Awesome. I can't wait for the Vintage races, I live maybe 45 minutes from Watkins and have never been. Hopefully my buddy has his mini fixed up by then.
